فبالعلم تزهر المجتمعات وترتقي، وهو الشعلة المنيرة التي تنير الدرب لجميع الأجيال، وهو السفينة التي تبحر في بحور المعرفة لينهل الطلاب منها، وككل السفن، تحتاج سفينة العلم لقبطان شجاع وقائد، يعمل على قيادتها والإبحار بها بسلام وأمان، للوصول إلى شاطئ النجاة، وقبطان هذه السفينة هو الاستاذ الجامعي ، وهو الثروة الحقيقة وكنز كل مجتمع،
