ان الفضل فيما وصلت اليه الأنسانية من حضارة وتقدم ورقي يعود الى البحث العلمي , فالبحث العلمي هو فن هادف وعملية لوصف التفاعل المستمر بين النظريات والحقائق، من أجل الحصول على حقائق ذات معنى، وعلى نظريات ذات قوى تنبؤية فالبحوث يجب ان تكون ذات جودة علمية عالية كذلك تكون ذات فائدة قصوى وأهمية اجتماعية.
