Dr. Ali Al-Rikaby, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the College of Arts, Mustansiriyah University, Iraq, and a distinguished scholar in Linguistics with a particular focus on Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) applied to political, media, and literary texts, as well as Translation Studies. His academic career spans several institutions across Iraq, Libya, and Malaysia, where he has contributed extensively to teaching and academic leadership, including his former roles as Head of the English Department in Libya and Head of the Translation Centre at Mustansiriyah University. Dr. Al-Rikaby’s scholarly work includes numerous publications in reputable academic outlets, notably Scopus-indexed journals such as the Journal of Language and Politics.
