Along with the agreements of cooperation between Al-Mustansiriyah University and the world universities, a video meeting was held between College of Engineering and Lulea University in Sweden in 09/05/2016 ,it was headed by the dean of college of Engineering , Dr. Mohammed Ali al-Anbari ,the dean's assistant for Administrative Affairs ,Dr. Qasim Abdul Razak ,director of department of Quality Assurance ,Dr. Mu'az Abdulwahid and director of Division of Registration, Dr.Kitam Abdul Hussein. Lulea University's representatives were Dr.Nadheer Ansari , Professor Jean and Professor Van.
The video meeting tackled the agreement of cooperation between the two universities as several issues were discussed, specifically the academic staff and the college efforts to stimulate the lecturers to finish the post-doctoral study although there were some obstacles and difficulties, while the second issue was concerning students as it did not accomplish because of the financial difficulties. The last issue was the curriculum development as they decide to send a delegation from the college to Lulea University to discuss this topic. The Swedish side said that all specialists in College of Engineering were also presented in the Swedish university , especially, the main field of water engineering , geotechnique and Environmental Engineering ,adding that cooperation is possible between the two sides in these fields. The attendees agreed to open up the prospects of future cooperation in the fields mentioned above.*
