Frequent Scientific achievements were achieved by the lecturers from college of Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering were added to the scientific balance of the college, which look forward to encourage its lecturers and support them to present more scientific researches and patents.
These efforts came to fruition as the lecturer Safa Hussein got a patent for his research (the biotic lotion Super Bio Relief to resist soil fungi that cause diseases) no. 4556, International Classification A01N63 / 04 in 9 /5 / 2016.
The biotic lotion Super Bio Relief considered as a bio-eco pesticide with wide influence it boosts the growth of plants and enriched soil. It consists of Chaetomium cupreum, Trichoderma viride and Saccharomyces cerevisiae plus a number of nutrients stimulating of plant growth, a potassium nitrate calcium, ammonium phosphate and sulfate water magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, boron and molubdnyum . it proved a high efficient against some of the fungi that cause diseases of plant as seeds rot disease.*
