| Journal of Pharmaceutical Science and Research published the scientific research entitled (Effect of Sildenafil On Pancreatic Epidermal Growth Factor Expression and B- Cell Function) for head of medicine and toxicology department at college of Pharmacy, Dr. Ghazi Mustafa Abbasi, the journal had the impact factor (2.544) and was listed in SCOPUS website. Sildenafil elevate cyclic nucleotide intracellular second messengers which contribute in several intracellular signaling pathways involved in physiological and pathological situation. The study designed to investigate histological and immunochemical effects of sildenafil in rate. on the pancreas gland of adult male rat. after Sildenafil treatment, immunohistochemical detection for epidermal growth factor (EGF) of submandibular which improve the synthesis of insulin in B-cells which subsequently lowers the blood glucose concentration.* |
