National Center for Research and Treatment of Diabetes held the scientific symposium entitled (Modern Drugs in The Treatment of Diabetes) as a medical lecture was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Torfandoa about the new types of insulin with which the Center had been newly supplied. He explained the treatment's effect in the patient's body and the time it takes to get to the positive situation ideally, when its effectiveness increases and decreases and how it is used as well. The lecture was intended for workers in the unit of health education at the center and the divisions of laboratories and pharmaceutical. It was attended by some doctors. The unit of health education was supplied with instructions booklets explained tips and location of insulin injection to be distributed among the patients.*
