| National center for diabetes treatment and research participated in a scientific seminar at the university in the occasion of world diabetes day entitled (New horizons in type 2 diabetes treatment) the seminar was held at Babylon hotel on Gilgamesh hall , delegation was headed by prof. Abbas mahdi rahma the head of the national center of diabetes treatment and research and a number of professors . The seminar was organized in collaboration with the deaf glands and hormones association and Astra Zeneca company . The seminar also consisted of review of the latest research studies in the development of drugs and treatments of this disease and the dissemination of health awareness about this disease , which is a disease of the era . Prof. Abbas mahdi rahma manager of the center gave a lecture entitled (launch a new drug for lowering blood sugar) . Dr. Faris abd al kareem from Al kindis’ medicine college and Dr. Mustafa fua’ad from the sponsoring company gave lectures. The seminar was headed by Dr. Salim Al rube’i representative of the college of medicine university of Baghdad . At the end of the seminar which was attended by specialized doctors and invented guests . |
