| The national center of diabetes has treated 102 patient with Acromegaly disease through accurate examination of their cases and provide therapy for them , Dr. Abbas Mahdi the head of the center stated that saying that this disease rarely affects 4-6 persons among million person , 102 cases were recorded in Iraq , as it is large number in comparison with neighboring countries as 32 cases were recorded in the American university in Beirut , this disease results from Excessive secretion of growth hormone and pituitary gland enlargement , Clinically infected patients suffer Parties' inflation and facial deformity and the emergence of the lower jaw in addition to diabetes and high blood pressure. |
