| Under the auspices of minister of higher education and scientific research Hussain Al shahrastani with the supervision of prof. Falah Al Asadi , closed hall at college of basic education hosted the championship of Iraqi universities (middle area)for ping - pong for male and female students with participation of 13 governmental and private universities. Dr. Ahmad Waleed Abd Alrahman head of sport education department at the university who confirmed that the team of Al mustansiriyah university got the championship of students competition after that the team managed to win at the final match against the team of Iraqi university (2-0) then team of Al nahrain university got the third place after winning against Baghdad’s college team (1-2) . Team of Iraqi university got the championship of (female students) team of Al mustansiriyah university in the second place , team of Baghdad university in the third place . At the end of the competition which was headed by international judges who were nominated by central Iraqi union for ping-pong then cups and medals were given to the winners . |
