| College of education opened at the university unit of automated search program in the college library in a move that aim to work in searching automated by computer as an alternative to the traditional way . In the opening ceremony which was attended by representatives of the central library and a number of units managers and teachers , dean of college of education Ahmad Shiyal confirmed that this step is aim to develop the library to be appropriate to the reality of scientific and technical development that witnessed by the world . He indicated that it was canceled to deal with the traditional search (paper system) and indispensable completely . He added that the library was supplied with six computers for researchers and students to carry out automated search to search for sources and for all departments , students became able to read the theses in a simple way , Shiyal also added that this service is the first of it’s kind in the universities libraries in Iraq through the activation of borrowing service at college. |
