| Book club at college of arts held it's 3rd activity , presented by history lecturer at college of arts Dr. Anis abd alhakeem mahmood who prepared and translated the book of the journey of bedor tikheara from basrah to Aleppo by road . the superviser of book club muhammed hussain presented the c.v of the lecturer . the lecture was about the book which reprsents a part of a series consisted of 20 journeys to Iraq , these journeys reflected the views and codes of the travelers from Europe about Iraq and other countries through the 16th and 18th century , the book of journeys presented the important informations , the lecturer mention that tikheara was an observer and spectator and he was a good describer , the book contain a huge number of info in different fields and we hope that our translation to his journey a humble conterbution in in the field of arts of journeys , that book shows the mysterious field in Iraqi history througha period that still ambiguous between researchers and historicals that was attended by the head of history dep.
