| Under the auspices of his excellence minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Dr. Hussein Alshihristani and supervision of chancellor of ALmustansiriyah university Prof.Dr. Falah Alasadi college of medicine held it's tenth annual scientific conference under the motto (almustansiriyah college of medicine… innovation and progress) in the halls of Ishtar hotel in Baghdad . the opening ceremony included the Iraqi national anthem and holy Quran reading and a memorize for Iraqi martyrs. Then the chairman of the conference , the dean of the college of medicine Prof. Dr. Sadiq Alhamash gave a speech in which he welcomed the guests and praised the continuous scientific efforts to held this conference which is considered as an opportunity for ideas and experiences encounter . he declared that 50 paperwork has been discussed in different medical specializations (clinical and basic) in addition to 20 scientific researches . then the chancellor of the university Prof.Dr. Falah Alasdi gave a speech in which he emphasizes the necessity of the quality assurance of the research work especially in the medical fields because it is related to the life of human being. He added that almustansiriyah university is witnessing a large expansion in the field of scientific research through holding many scientific conferences and symposiums in different colleges and he praised the unlimited support of the minister to the scientific field also he praised the efforts of the presidency of university and the deanery of the medicine college .then conference certificates were awarded to the guests by the chancellor of the university and the dean of the medicine college . the opening scientific symposium was about medical teaching with five aspect . the first day included two scientific sessions , the first on discussed the diabetes with five aspects , the second was about tuberculosis also with five aspects . the second day of the conference included six evening scientific sessions about new treatments of pain – new therapy of cancer in five sessions –acute coronary syndrome in four sessions- new treatment of hematology in five sessions –obesity in four sessions – fertilization also in four sessions .in addition to lectures by representatives of world pharmaceutical companies and display of their products . after that a debate was opened concerning research work. Gratitude certificates were awarded to the retired Profs , representatives , and conference scientific and administrative committee members. |
