Almustansiriyah university commenced the seventh international festival of AL tuff organized by college of Art in accordance with Alwaqfalsheai council .The festival was under the title of( Revolution of Imam Husein ( PBUH) is a road map from Karbala
's Tuff to faithful popular army ).The festival which was organized in the hall of shaheed almihrab began its programs with the national theme then,Aayah of Qur'an and Surat Alfatiha for Iraqi martyrs .Mr.Ali Alalak delivered a speech on behalf of the Prim minister then,Haj Hadi Alamiri delivered a speech on behalf of the popular army .Dr.Abdulrazak Alisa delivered the speech of minister of higher education and scientific research ,followed by the speech of Alwaqfalsheai council after that , Prof . Falah Alasdi ,president of the university and Dr. Farida Dara ,dean of Art college presented their speeches followed by a play entitled (Awaking of Glory) performed by students of Media department , the play presented popular army heroics .The festival included rewarding the attendees university shields and honoring Dr.Muhammad Alshimary's family .
The festival was attended by sheikh Humam Hmadi,head of parliament ,Dr.Khalid Muharam,head of SIRAJ for Islamic researches ,prof.Ali Altimimi,governor of Baghdad ,in addition to number of religious and political figures .*
