According to Central organization for standardization and quality control , an elite of researchers at the university got patents for their valuable inventions and researches .Dr.Jeehan Abdulsttar and Dr. Mahasin Alshimary from department of Life Science and Muhannad Jalil from college of Dentistry got a patent for their shared research that entitled (Preparing antibacterial membranes from polymer PVA and bioemulsion ),in addition to the patent gotten by Dr.Fatin Muhammad for her research entitled (A new method to create golden nanoballs using cottaric acid as a reducing agent ).*
