| College of Education held the Commemorative Ceremony of the Islamic thinker professor Muhammad Mufeed Al- Yassin . The ceremony was attended by the President of the University Prof. Falah al-Asadi and dean of College of Education , Dr. Ahmed Shaial as well as the family of the deceased and a group of lecturers and students.
Dr. Falah al-Asadi delivered his speech saying , "We stand a pause homage for the late scientist and man of knowledge Prof. Mohammed Al- Yassin ,the deceased was one of the most prominent scientists who were interested in the Islamic heritage ",at the end of his speech , he consoled the deceased's family and his students .
Dr. Ahmed Shaial stressed that " the deceased is one of Iraqi figures who had done a lot for the Islamic heritage " adding that " The deceased contributed in advancing education, especially in historical studies ,he left a mark in the sky of science and knowledge handed from one generation to the next. "During the ceremony ,Dr. Mohammed Hussein al- Yassin presented a touching poem to lament the deceased as other professors delivered their words lamenting him .* |
